Grounding Sound Massage

Service Description

A sound massage with Himalayan singing bowls has been described by many as a "massage from the inside, out" - a gentle warm radiance that grows from within that feels nurturing, grounding and helpful - for getting one out of their head and back into the body & present and one's body. So what happens during a sound massage? After lying on a professional massage bed that is fitted with a heated blanket, Himalayan singing bowls will be placed on the body in key areas and energy centres & played to create sustained harmonic tones & vibrations which feel gentle and relaxing. These key areas tend to be the neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, the backs of the legs and soles of the feet. The vibrations gently massage the surrounding fascia, tissues and cells, releasing muscle tension and stagnation, settling the nervous system, and encouraging presence, harmony and flow within. This creates a feeling of gentle radiance that gets larger from within. Each session is unique to the individual and their natural self-healing process and may be paired with essential oils or crystals to support intention and therapeutic goals. Please share any supportive information at the time of booking. WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear warm, loose, comfortable clothing and socks. No collars, hoodies or jewellery. GOOD TO KNOW: Women will be seen by Laura. Men will be seen by Tom. HEALTH GUIDELINES: Sound massage & bowl sound treatment is not be suitable if you are pregnant within the first three months, have bulging, herniated, or slipped discs, have metal in your spine, are epileptic, have sound-induced seizures or have a severe mental illness, or experience seizures as they can alter your brainwave state.
