Laura Pacheco - Founder of Found in Sound

Laura is a qualified and insured Sound Therapy & Reiki Practitioner who specialises in a unique, integrative blend of healing modalities — including sound healing, sound massage, reiki, and reiki drum.

​

Her journey into sound and energy healing began as a personal search for relief from chronic stress-induced illness — a path that led to deep transformation. Today, that journey fuels her passion to help others reconnect with themselves through evidence-based and soul-led therapeutic sound.

​

Outside of her healing work, Laura is also a singer, songwriter, and DJ in the electronic music world, known under the alias Riya. Her grounding in music — especially dance music — gives her a powerful understanding of rhythm, frequency, and emotional resonance, which she now channels into therapeutic practice.

Laura's Approach

Laura bridges the scientific and the spiritual. Her work is underpinned by a solid foundation in sound healing research — drawn from her formal training, guidance from experienced teachers, and her own ongoing study. She weaves this knowledge together with ancient esoteric practices and intuitive energy work to offer a deeply holistic approach to healing.

With Laura, sound healing is a co-created journey — a process that honours your unique needs, pace, and potential to gently facilitate the body’s natural return to homeostasis. Through principles like resonance, entrainment, and intention, the body can shift into a healing state — especially when met with presence and willingness.

1-2-1 sessions are tailored to you, and may include reiki, oracle cards, crystals, aromatherapy, and aftercare suggestions to support your continued integration and expansion.

While Laura welcomes all to her group sessions (which she runs with her partner in sound - Tom Robertson), her private work focuses primarily on supporting women committed to their own healing and self-development. She honours the depth and non-linearity of healing and works best with those ready to walk that path with intention.​​
