Spring Equinox Slowdown Greenwich

Service Description

The Spring Equinox Slowdown Sound Bath is a seasonal special in Greenwich, offering space to slow down, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with calmer rhythms — physically, mentally, and emotionally. The equinox marks the moment where day and night are equal — a natural pause in the year, symbolising balance, renewal, and gentle forward movement. It’s traditionally a time for releasing what’s no longer needed and creating space for new growth and intention, making it a supportive moment for reflective practices such as sound baths. As you arrive and settle into the space, you’ll be offered a small gift as a thank you for your presence and a symbol of abundance in this new cycle. After a brief welcome, the session begins with gentle breathwork and a short, heart-led meditation accompanied by the bass drum, supporting grounding and helping the body shift into rest-and-digest mode. You’ll then be immersed in layers of therapeutic sound from two instrument stations, including gongs, crystal singing bowls, and the voice. These sounds are offered to quiet the mind, soothe the nervous system, and gently retune the body toward balance and harmony. All sounds are played with intention, using tones and intervals chosen to support coherence and inner balance. After the session, you’re invited to stand in the ‘Oracle’ Buddha Bowl — a mini sound massage that many also find brings added insight and clarity. Vegan cacao brownies and herbal teas are also provided to enjoy and take home. >>>PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT & COMFORT KIT<<< (blanket, pillow, eye mask, warm layers etc.) Date: Sunday 22nd March Time: 4:00–5:00pm WHAT WILL YOU FIND IN SOUND? Every person’s experience is unique. Commonly reported responses include relaxation, emotional release, clarity, comfort, vitality, peace, relief from tension or pain, and a sense of connection to something steady, supportive, or greater than the everyday mind.
