These terms apply when you use the Found in Sound website or book, attend or purchase a service, event, gift card or digital product from Found in Sound. Please read the relevant sections before completing your booking or purchase. By placing an order or booking through our website, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

2. Bookings and payments
Full payment is normally required at the time of booking to secure your appointment or place. Your booking is confirmed when payment has been successfully received and you receive a booking confirmation from Found in Sound or our booking provider. Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if any information is incorrect. You are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate contact and booking information.
-
Selecting the correct service, location, date and time.
-
Reading the relevant service description.
-
Reading our Health Guidelines before booking.
-
Providing relevant health, allergy, accessibility or pregnancy information.
-
Ensuring that any guests included in your booking have also read and accepted the relevant information.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Any additional, optional cost will be explained before it is charged.
3. Private appointments
This section applies to individually scheduled appointments, including:
-
Reiki sessions.
-
Sound massage.
-
Sound therapy and combined sound-and-Reiki treatments.
-
Personal sound therapy.
-
Instrument-discovery sessions.
-
Custom sessions for two.
-
Private sound baths and other privately arranged sessions.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a private appointment free of charge by providing at least 72 hours’ notice before its scheduled start time. A booking may ordinarily be rescheduled once. Further changes may be treated as a cancellation or considered at our discretion.
Requests to reschedule must be made directly to Found in Sound. A change is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice
If you cancel or request to reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice, the booking fee will ordinarily be retained because the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you and may be difficult to refill. If we are able to refill the appointment, or if there are exceptional circumstances, we may offer a transfer or credit at our discretion. This does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund or credit.
Missed appointments
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us in advance, the appointment will be treated as a missed booking and the full fee will be retained.
4. Sessions for two or more people
The person making the booking is responsible for:
-
Ensuring that all guests receive the relevant booking information.
-
Providing any requested information about the guests.
-
Ensuring that everyone has read the Health Guidelines.
-
Informing us of any relevant health, pregnancy, accessibility or allergy considerations.
-
Ensuring that the correct number of people has been booked.
A booking made for a stated number of people cannot automatically be expanded to include additional guests. Please contact us before bringing anyone not included in the original booking. Additional attendance is subject to space, suitability and an additional fee where applicable. Private sessions for two or more people follow the private-appointment cancellation and rescheduling conditions above.
5. Group sound baths and events
This section applies to group sound baths, workshops and other events taking place on a specified date.
Rescheduling and transfers Group places are not ordinarily refundable. However, you may transfer your booking to another available Found in Sound group session by contacting us at least 72 hours before the original session begins.
Alternatively, you may give your place to another person, provided that:
-
You inform us before the session.
-
The replacement attendee completes any required booking or health information.
-
They read and accept these terms and our Health Guidelines.
-
The session is suitable for them.
Transfers are subject to availability and should be arranged directly with Found in Sound. Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice
If you cancel, request a transfer or are unable to attend with less than 72 hours’ notice, the booking fee will ordinarily be retained because your place has been reserved and may not be resold. Where a place can be filled from a waiting list, or exceptional circumstances apply, we may offer a transfer or credit at our discretion. This does not create an automatic entitlement.
6. Arrival and late attendance
Group sessions
Please arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before the advertised start time so that you can settle into the space and prepare comfortably.
We understand that occasional travel delays happen. However, arriving after a group session has begun can disrupt the experience and may create practical or safety concerns in a darkened room.
If you expect to be late, please contact us as soon as possible. Once the session has begun and the doors have closed, late admission cannot be guaranteed. If you arrive more than a few minutes late and cannot be admitted, your booking will be treated as a missed session and no refund or transfer will ordinarily be provided.
Private sessions
If you arrive late for a private appointment, we may need to shorten the session so that subsequent appointments are not affected. The full booking price will remain payable. If you arrive too late for the session to be delivered safely or meaningfully, it may be treated as a missed appointment.
7. What to bring to group sessions
For group sessions in Sevenoaks and Greenwich, you will ordinarily need to bring your own:
-
Yoga or exercise mat.
-
Blanket.
-
Pillow or cushion.
-
Eye mask, if desired.
-
Water.
-
Any additional support required for your comfort.
Unless the event description says otherwise, this applies to every person included in your booking. We have two equipment sets available to hire for £2 per set, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment should be reserved with us in advance where possible. You are responsible for bringing enough support to lie or sit comfortably. Please contact us before booking if you have accessibility or positioning requirements.
8. Health, suitability and informed participation
Sound healing, sound massage and reiki are complementary wellbeing practices. They are not medical treatment, and Found in Sound does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions. You must read our current Health Guidelines before booking.
Additional caution, adaptation or medical guidance may be required if you:
-
Are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
-
Have a high-risk pregnancy or are approaching your due date.
-
Live with epilepsy or unmanaged seizures.
-
Have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device.
-
Have metal implants.
-
Have a slipped, bulging or herniated disc or another spinal condition.
-
Live with a serious or unstable physical or mental-health condition.
-
Have recently had surgery or sustained an injury.
-
Have another condition that may affect the suitability of sound, vibration, body positioning or energy work.
This list is not exhaustive. Some considerations are not absolute contraindications but may require additional caution, adaptation or an alternative approach. In particular, there is currently limited research and no universally agreed guidance concerning on-body sound massage for conditions such as slipped, bulging or herniated discs. These conditions therefore require individual assessment. A standard sound massage may not be appropriate, but an adapted or off-body sound session may be possible.
You are responsible for reading our Health Guidelines and providing accurate, relevant information before your session. Previous participation in a group sound bath or another form of sound healing does not necessarily mean that an on-body sound massage will be appropriate.
If information disclosed before or at your appointment indicates that the treatment booked may require additional caution, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. Depending on the circumstances, we may:
Adapt your position or the placement, weight and intensity of instruments.
Avoid direct vibration over a particular area.
Offer an off-body sound treatment or another suitable session.
Request guidance or confirmation from your GP, consultant or another appropriate healthcare professional.
Postpone or advise against the treatment. If we advise against it and you've already booked, you will be refunded.
Where the practitioner considers that an adapted session can be provided within their training, insurance and professional judgement, you may be given further information and asked to sign an additional informed-consent form before deciding whether to proceed.
Signing an additional consent form does not require Found in Sound to provide a treatment that the practitioner considers inappropriate. It does not transfer all responsibility to the client, override our professional responsibilities or remove your statutory rights.
If the treatment falls outside our training or insurance requirements, or the practitioner does not believe it can be provided appropriately, it will not proceed. A suitable alternative may be offered where possible.
If relevant information was not disclosed during booking and the original treatment cannot be provided, we will try to use the reserved appointment time for an appropriate alternative. If no suitable alternative is possible, the appointment may need to be postponed. Any transfer, credit or refund will be considered according to the individual circumstances.
You remain in control throughout your session and may ask to change position, reduce the intensity, stop an instrument or end the session at any time. Participation is voluntary, and no particular experience or outcome is guaranteed.

9. Essential oils, room sprays, teas and treats
Some Found in Sound sessions may include essential oils, room sprays, herbal teas or a small vegan treat. Please tell us about any known allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, asthma, migraine triggers, pregnancy-related sensitivities or dietary concerns before attending.
Where we are informed in advance, we will take reasonable steps to avoid using an identified essential oil or room spray in your immediate session environment. However, we cannot guarantee that a venue or shared piece of equipment has never previously come into contact with a particular fragrance or substance.
Refreshments and treats are optional. Although a product may be described as vegan, this does not mean that it is free from allergens. Products may contain or have been prepared in environments containing nuts, peanuts, gluten, soya, sesame or other allergens.
Please check any available packaging or ingredient information before consuming a product. If you have a severe allergy or are uncertain about suitability, you should not consume the offered item. You are welcome to decline any scent, tea or treat without affecting your session.
10. Conduct and consideration for others
We ask everyone attending a Found in Sound session to behave respectfully toward practitioners, venue staff and other participants.
We may refuse admission or end a session where someone:
-
Behaves in a threatening, abusive, discriminatory or disruptive manner.
-
Appears to be significantly affected by alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
-
Creates a health or safety risk.
-
Does not follow reasonable instructions concerning the venue or session.
-
Infringes another participant’s privacy, boundaries or comfort.
Where a session is refused or ended because of a participant’s behaviour, a refund will not ordinarily be provided.
Unauthorised photography, filming or audio recording is not permitted during sessions.
11. Cancellations or changes by Found in Sound
Occasionally, we may need to cancel, postpone, relocate or adapt a session because of practitioner illness, venue problems, severe weather, safety concerns, insufficient attendance or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible. If Found in Sound cancels a session and cannot provide the booked service, you will be offered:
-
A transfer to another suitable date;
-
A credit for the amount paid; or
-
A full refund of the affected booking.
If an event is rescheduled or moved and you cannot reasonably attend, you may request a refund.
Found in Sound is not responsible for additional costs such as travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of earnings resulting from a cancellation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Sonic Lumins and other digital content
Sonic Lumins and other downloadable recordings are supplied as digital content. Immediate delivery and cancellation rights
Where digital content is made available immediately after purchase, you will be asked to:
-
Expressly request immediate access to the digital content; and
-
Acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation right will be lost once the download or supply begins.
This does not affect your rights if digital content is faulty, inaccessible, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of UK consumer law. If you experience a genuine technical problem, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide replacement access, repair, an alternative or a refund.
Personal-use licence
Purchasing digital content gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own private, personal and non-commercial listening. You must not, without written permission:
-
Copy or redistribute the files to other people.
-
Upload them to another website, platform, cloud-sharing service or social-media account.
-
Sell, sublicense or commercially exploit them.
-
Use them within paid client sessions, classes, public events, broadcasts or commercial productions.
-
Edit, sample, remix or incorporate them into another recording or product.
-
Remove copyright, branding or ownership information.
Purchasing a recording does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying work.
Listening responsibly
Use a comfortable volume and suitable listening equipment. Do not listen while driving, operating machinery or undertaking anything that requires your full attention. Stop listening if you experience pain, dizziness, distress or significant discomfort.
Sonic Lumins are created for personal listening and reflection. They are not medical treatment and no particular physical, emotional or therapeutic outcome is promised.
13. Gift cards
Gift cards:
-
Are valid until the expiry date displayed on the gift card or stated at purchase.
-
Can be used toward eligible Found in Sound services available at the time of redemption.
-
Cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash.
-
Must be presented or applied when booking.
-
Remain subject to service availability and our Health Guidelines.
-
May be transferred to another person unless stated otherwise.
-
Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or used without permission, except where we are able to verify and safely prevent use of the original card.
If a booking costs more than the gift-card balance, the difference must be paid. Any remaining balance will continue to be available until the stated expiry date, subject to the gift card’s conditions. Purchasing a gift card does not guarantee the availability or suitability of a particular service, practitioner, location or date. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
14. Marketing preferences
Being asked whether you would like to hear about future sound baths is separate from your booking. You will only be added to WhatsApp or email marketing where you have chosen to receive it or where another lawful basis permits the communication.
We usually send occasional updates rather than frequent messages. You can withdraw your permission at any time by:
-
Using the unsubscribe link in an email;
-
Replying to a WhatsApp message and asking to be removed; or
-
Contacting Found in Sound directly.
Choosing not to receive marketing will not affect your booking or treatment. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
15. Photographs, recordings and testimonials
Found in Sound may occasionally photograph instruments, room layouts or other elements of an event for use on our website or social media. We take reasonable care not to include attendees’ faces or other identifying features in these photographs. We will not deliberately take or publish an identifiable photograph, video or audio recording of you without first seeking your permission. If you believe you appear recognisably in any published image and would like it removed, please contact us and we will consider the request promptly.

We will seek separate permission before publishing an identifiable testimonial or attributing feedback to you by name.
Attendees must respect the privacy of others and must not photograph, film or record other participants without their permission. Audio or video recording during a session is not permitted unless Found in Sound has expressly agreed to it.

16. Intellectual property
The Found in Sound name, website content, written materials, photographs, graphics, branding, session materials, audio recordings, Sonic Lumins and other original content are owned by or licensed to Found in Sound. They may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified or commercially used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
17. Website information
We take reasonable care to keep the website and service information accurate and current. However, content may occasionally contain an error or become outdated. We may update service descriptions, availability, venues, practitioners or prices at any time. Changes will not affect a confirmed booking unless we contact you and agree an alternative. Information published on the website is general information and should not be treated as medical advice.
18. Our responsibility to you
Found in Sound will provide services with reasonable care and skill, as required by UK consumer law. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
-
Breach of statutory consumer rights.
-
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those protections, Found in Sound is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the booking or purchase was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase. Nothing in these terms requires you to waive your legal rights.
19. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a booking, purchase or experience, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any disagreement directly. When you contact us, please include relevant information such as your name, booking or order details, what happened and the resolution you are seeking. We will aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond fairly within a reasonable period.

20. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. These explain what information we collect, why it is used, how long it is retained and your rights under UK data-protection law.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, booking practices or legal obligations change.
The terms applying to a booking or purchase will ordinarily be those presented when the booking or purchase was made. The latest version will remain available on our website.
22. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings available to you under the law.
