Service Description

Reiki, meaning universal life force, is a gentle yet powerful healing practice that works with the energy present in all living things — often referred to as chi, prana, or even love. In a Reiki session, this energy is channelled to support the restoration of the body’s biofield (its energetic field), promoting deep relaxation, balanced energy flow, and a renewed sense of connection — to self, to others, and to something greater. Why does our life force become depleted? When we spend extended periods in states of stress, resistance, fear, worry, or anger, or when our emotional and physical needs are regularly unmet, our life force can become diminished. This depletion may eventually manifest as tension, fatigue, emotional imbalance — and in some cases, chronic illness or dis-ease. Reiki offers a nurturing, non-invasive way to help replenish this vital energy, inviting softness, clarity, and healing at multiple levels. Where this session takes place: This session takes place online via Zoom — so all you need is a quiet, comfortable space and a stable internet connection. You’ll be guided into a relaxed state as Reiki is channelled remotely, which can be just as effective as in-person sessions. You are welcome to light a candle or two, to surround yourself with crystals if you work with them, and to journal before & after the session. Health considerations: Reiki is safe and suitable for most people. However, it is not recommended for individuals in their first trimester of pregnancy or for those with a pacemaker, as the energetic flow may interfere with its rhythm. Lineage & influences: This offering draws on the lineage of traditional Usui Reiki, inspired by the teachings of Dr Mikao Usui, Jules Kay, Harie Graham of Rezenance, and William Rand (Holy Fire Reiki). I also incorporate wisdom from other healing traditions that have deeply influenced my practice — including crystal healing, aromatherapy, Buddhism, and insights received from intuitive mediums.
