Service Description

Often described as a “massage from the inside out,” Sound Massage is a deeply grounding, body-based experience using Himalayan singing bowls placed on and around the clothed body. As the bowls are gently played, sustained harmonic vibrations travel through the body, offering a unique way to experience sound not only through listening, but through physical resonance. Many people describe sensations of warmth, spaciousness, heaviness, lightness, or a deep sense of rest and reconnection. During the session, singing bowls may be placed on areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, and feet, depending on your comfort and needs on the day. Between placements, additional Himalayan bowls are played around the body, creating an immersive field of sound that allows the experience to move between focused vibration and whole-body resonance. This experience is especially suited to people who feel tired, overstimulated, disconnected, or drawn to a more physical and grounding form of sound therapy. There is nothing to analyse or figure out. You are simply invited to rest, receive, and notice what the sound brings into awareness. Your comfort and safety are always our priority. We will review your health history before your treatment to ensure Sound Massage is appropriate for you and can be adapted where needed. Sound Massage may not be suitable if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have bulging or herniated discs, metal in the spine, epilepsy, sound-induced seizures, or certain severe mental health conditions.
