Sound Massage & Reiki

Service Description

This deeply restorative treatment brings together Himalayan singing bowl massage and Reiki for a layered experience of sound, vibration, and energy work. You’ll remain fully clothed and rest comfortably on a treatment bed, supported with blankets and cushions. The session usually begins with sound massage on the back of the body, with Himalayan singing bowls placed on and around areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, legs, and feet, depending on your comfort and needs on the day. You will then be invited to turn onto your back for Reiki, offered to the front of the body through gentle hands-on or hands-off energy work, depending on your preference and comfort. Together, these practices create space for a sense of relief, rest, reconnection, and a doorway to the wisdom within. Many people are drawn to this treatment when they feel tired, overstimulated, emotionally heavy, disconnected, or in need of a more nurturing experience. Some experience deep rest, warmth, spaciousness, stillness, emotional release, insight, or a renewed sense of connection. There is no right or wrong way to experience this. The session unfolds differently for each person, and you are invited to trust that whatever arises is part of what you need in that moment. Your comfort and safety are always our priority. We will review your health history before your treatment to ensure Sound Massage + Reiki is appropriate for you and can be adapted where needed. Sound Massage + Reiki may not be suitable if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have bulging or herniated discs, metal in the spine, epilepsy, sound-induced seizures, or certain severe mental health conditions.
