Sunday Slowdown is an evening of restorative sound, deep rest, and inner reconnection through immersive therapeutic sound. Life can be busy, demanding, and full of distractions. Sunday Slowdown offers a chance to step away from the outside world for a while and create space to simply be — to rest, reflect, and reconnect with yourself before the week ahead begins. After settling in, we begin with gentle breath awareness and a heart-opening meditation, accompanied by the grounding bass drum. This supports heart–brain–body coherence and activates the body's natural rest-and-digest response, helping you arrive more fully in the present moment. From here, you'll be immersed in continuous therapeutic sound from both sides of the room, nestling you within a fully immersive 360° sonic experience. Instruments are played with intention, using harmonic tones and intervals chosen to support symmetry, coherence, and inner balance. As the body rests and the mind relaxes, many people find it becomes easier to listen inwardly — to intuition, insight, or a quieter sense of inner knowing. All you need to do is lie back, rest, and allow the sound to carry you. There's a short moment of silence at the end before coming back slowly, guided by us. The evening closes with a herbal tea and a slice of homemade vegan bite to take home with you. There’s also the opportunity to stand in the ‘Oracle’ Buddha Bowl — a mini sound massage that many people find brings an added sense of clarity, grounding, and insight.
